I am now officially a cloth diaper drop out. After months of staring at my starter stash of cloth diapers, I’ve finally decided to give them all away. Yeah, I guess I’m not coming back. This may not be good news for advocates of fluffy bottoms, but it’s a move that will benefit all of us, most especially our little one.
When it comes to parenting, all the firsts are associated to your baby. Their first smile, first steps, first solid food experience, first time they taste lemons (or calamansi). Each memory brings us so much joy. But then there’s also their first chaotic diaper change, first fever, first cough and colds, first crib acrobats, to mention a few. These are the firsts that can make our blood run cold. While the spotlight is on our babies, new parents like me, also get a share of the most heart-melting, most hilarious, most embarrassing and scariest “firsts”.
Ola Gnomeregan! My forever newbie World of Warcraft characters are back! And it’s free! Thanks to my friend/officemate/seatmate/kumareng GoshLiz for the good news. My 6-year old Wow account is sort of alive.
World of Warcraft or WoW is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment in 2004. Just last month, they released a patch that allows inactive accounts to log in to the game with few restrictions. Only characters level 20 and below can be accessed for accounts with no game time left. For people like me who can’t allot a couple of hours to play and can only afford occasional peek ingame, this update is a treat. I can now try different characters during those fortunate times that my little one is asleep. And the best part, I don’t have to shell out around $15. Sweeet!
Knitting is therapeutic. Losing myself to the slow, relaxing repetition of knitting makes me feel good no matter how long my day has been. It’s like a warm mint tea or a below-zero beer on a Friday night.
I started about 4 years ago, but I’m no pro. In fact, I have very basic know-how when it comes to any form of crafting. I came to love knitting when my friend Couch Princess started making her own blanket and a pair of socks. Back then I had so much time and I gave it a try.
Hi and welcome! I’m Atari and I do most of the baking and talking in this blog. This is my husband, Rudeboi, the occasional photographer. This blog is mostly about our daily brews and woes. More about us here.
